The girl from Ecuador was so friendly and kind.
So were people at Komoda and Orchidzone.

Yes, I am glad you got pics of the vendors, they were all very nice.
Here are pics of what I hauled away
Trichosalpinx patula the minty green one that is hanging from the piece of wood. Took a while for me to mount it.

Barbosella cucullata, I mounted this one in two places

Dracula lotax, I kept this one its mount and just hung the mount in the orchidarium.

Dendrobium, from Andy's Orchids, but I have temporarily lost the name. The show piece on the table had two drooping bell like red flowers.

Epidendron hybrid whose name I will insert once I get home.

No one ever takes photos of the vendors. and some at times are not young! I was tempted in getting the Dracula lotax, but I assumed without a terrarium it would be pointless...

Oh that looks so cool!!!! I wish I could have gone, but we're going to the NYBG show next week and I couldn't have made it to the city twice in a week or two.
Is anyone else going to the NYBG? They say they have some plants for sale which I'm looking forward to! My husband really surprised me for our anniversary last week! I had completely forgotten the show was coming up soon and he bought me tickets and said I could buy some stuff in the gift shop too! I'm so excited!!!

I go to NYBG every year. I love it a lot!
They do sell lots of orchids at thier store, but waaaay overpriced. I spent some serious money though. hahaha
Not sure if it's going to be the same this year, but here's the hint. Go shop on monday or tuesday because new shippment comes in everymonday. so sunday, you're left with crappy leftovers. lol

Oh thanks!! If they're too over priced there is an orchid seller near the Taconic/rt84 which we'll be passing. The guy was super friendly when I e-mailed him, maybe we'll buy there instead! I'd rather come home with two cheaper orchids then one expensive one! They say they have lots of books, so that may be something else to buy too, I'm very big into gardening, so this may not be a good idea! ha ha ha!!!
