What a huge haul!! You got several orchids that I would LOVE to have also, like the Clowesias, and some of the Dens.

Thanks Camille. Today is a busy day pulling out of pots, inspecting, watering, and a dip in Bayer (just in case). Then they can go into the shade house.
A few are so big that they need repotting and a few are going on mounts.
It was a great show. I sat in on the judging all day Saturday and learned a lot about the weirder orchids. They awarded 3 from our table, an awesone bulb bicolor that had a rainbow of colors, a calanthe Pink Champagne from Windy Hill that had the substance of diamond dust (I counted the flowers and buds), and an outstanding phal cornu-cervi that had the most interesting interior barring. When we put it in the sunlight, it turned mahogany/oxblood red.
As Msaar said, they awarded 15 AOS awards (a record for the Atlanta-region center). The plants exhibited were fantastic! We would like to thank all of the societies and vendors who came.

Den amabile
It really pays to pre-order from the great vendors because usually they pick out the best in the greenhouse for you.
Here is an awesome example from Clown Alley. The ad says a 5" pot and yes it is a 5" but after digging out the 3 layers of pots and roots, this guy went into an 8" basket with coco-fibers, medium orchiata, and hydroton balls mixed together.
As you can see in the picture, the tallest growth is 24" and I counted 7 new growths (4 establishing and 3 nubs).
5" inch.... I had to use a hammer and pliers to get the pots out.
amabile is very similar to farmeri except that the blooms are blush pink with yellow-orange throat and the white tip lip.
