Default Redlands Orchid Festival...........
For all you folks in south Florida, the Redlands Orchid Festival starts next Friday May 18th, in Homestead. It's one of the biggest orchid shows in the country with lots of vendors from South America and Asia as well as the US. It's an outdoor show so bring a good hat and some sun screen and have a good time. Make sure to visit the AOS judging tent to see some remarkable orchids.

I will be there on Friday and Saturday as well. I'll miss Sunday due to my company's picnic. Last year some of us met at the show and it was fun.

hmmmm.....really tempted...to get a flight ticket to Homestead. never been to one, but sounds like a great event to go to.

I'm making it down from Atlanta with hotel an rental and flight for about 400. It's totally worth it, and a bunch of hybridizes I want to meet (friends from here and BIg Leaf forum as well) will be there.
