Susquehanna Orchid Society show! oct. 21-23

Well today was just a whirlwind!!

I was the clerk for Cattleya Alliance and Oncidium Alliance.

I know cattleyas pretty well and a little bit about oncidiums.
However, many of the plants were not entered into the proper category
Sooo....we also had to move plants into the proper categories on the fly as we went along.

I called it "Trial by Fire"

The judges were very nice and really made the best of it.

And after it was all over, I saw that my exhibit had THREE ribbons on it
Two first place and one third place

woohoo!! great job denise!

you guys shouldve seen her exhibit! it was great!

i was able to shadow a judge. we did the cyps and vandaceous plants. it was great!! the judsges were so nice! glad i wasnt clerking though!
