Is everyone getting excited? I think I will go on Friday, too. It would be nice to meet up with everyone. Maybe at lunchtime? It would be fun to share what we have purchased (so far). So Ysa, Maria, and Tucker let's keep in touch. Anyone else going on Friday?

I'm VERY excited!!!
My sister now wants to go with me but she wants to go on Saturday. SIGH. I dunno. The pressure! I will let you know if it's Friday or Saturday.
(rubbing my hands with glee) I CANNOT wait to get my grubby little hands on those Schombs!!!!! Tee hee!
ETA: I'm looking for something spectacular for my tiny front entrance; I may get a warmth-tolerant cymbidum!!!

Time for the Redlands Show
A question for those of you familiar with the setup at Redlands. I cannot do as much walking as it appears you have to do at the show. I probably will need to rent an electric scooter. So, is the venue "friendly" to scooters and where could one be rented. I cannot go this year and am in the "saving for next year" group, so this is one expense I need to provide for. Thanks for any info.

The venue is definitely friendly for scooters. It's outdoors and there are concrete pathways between the vendors. As far as renting....hmmmmmmmmm

Redlands fashion....hats!
Ha.
So I have this HUGE FLOPPY spf 2 MILLION hat that I wear outside to work on my orchids, but I thought Redlands 2011 needed something cuter.
I just ordered this:

I decided to go Saturday. I'm pumped.

For those of you heading to Redland...if you happen to want a break from all the orchid shopping on Saturday morning, I will be speaking on Florida's native orchids at the Fort Pierce Orchid Society (about a 2.5 hour drive north) on Saturday morning from 10 am to 12 pm.
