This is probably the oldest garden show in the country having been held every year since 1929.
It is a full garden show with numerous varieties of plants. It has a large selection of orchids as you might expect from an event that draws 15,000 visitors.
If you come be sure to stop by my booth and introduce yourself.
Yes you MUST!!! Are you a member Maria? i always run into Roly there.
No, I'm not a member. I've been looking for tropical gingers to re-landscape my itty bitty teeny tiny front yard. Plus, I'm interested in learning how to grow proteas. I wonder if they would have them at the show? In any event, I've never been to it, but I'm planning to go this year!
How much is a membership anyway? if I became a member, do I have to pay the entrance fee?
I wish I could talk you into growing natives in your teeny yard, there are some real beauties out there, but I do see the beauty in the proteas.
If you become a member you don't pay entrance fee which is about 20 dollars. I think the membership is 90-100 something like that.
How about a nice butterfly garden with beautiful natives, some will even attract hummingbirds to your area? I'll even help you with the labor.
