Going west on Hillsboro Blvd, right on the NW corner at Lyons Rd is a nature preserve with brand new concrete path through it. It is even wheel chair friendly. The parking lot is on the west side of the park. You go just past Lyons road heading west and make your first turn.
There is also a nice open air pavilion that has seats. A nice place to have a sandwich. It's in a safe neighborhood. The only thing it doesn't have is a restroom.
