I've been a good girl this year (I've bought like 10 orchids maybe). I've only gone to Tamiami International orchid festival because I've been looking forward to Redlands. But, such is life.

But, OTOH, I've bought some nice Laelias from SBOE and I am getting my shipment from erinbonsai.com for some custom pots I ordered.

Maybe if I can pull a miracle I'll be able to go briefly---but I doubt it.

So, perhaps next year.

As it stands now, I'll have my buddy Lenny with me on saturday. But, since he bailed on the Fakahatchee walk, I ain't holdin my breath..

As for getting deals, I find if I look at everyones stuff and ask prices, but come back later, I usually get a better deal.

But then sometimes, the plant I want is gone.

I was about to. Sue and Laura kindly offered to pick up any pre-orders I may have had at redlands, but I decided not to pre-order anything because I've already invested in an internet haul. It's also too late to pre-order anything at this point.

However, I'm planning another online haul when I sell my books. Some money will go into savings, and you know where the rest will go.
