Hey Swamper! Nice to meet you, too! I had a very nice day and hope to go again tomorrow.

I really treated myself this year. My big purchase was a specimen sized Den chrysotoxum (v suavissimum). It has 8 blooming spikes and is in excellent condition. I got it from H & R.

I also got a small cutting of Den bullenianum from Mac's Orchids. It has 4 canes plus 2 new growths. The roots were wrapped in Coconut fiber. I just placed the root ball in a treefern pot so I can hang it. He has the most unusual species in S Fla (in my opinion). So I always try to get something from him.

I got a nice Japanese style purple clay pot from C.B.I. for my Gongora. And some supplies from Broward Orchid Supply.

Oh Sue! I asked around for you over by the buses, but I didn't find anyone that knew you. One bus was from Tampa. Were you parked over in the church parking lot? Sorry I missed you. Oh well, maybe next year!

I handed out 3 info sheets about OB and invited people to join.

OMG! Got home a little while ago, been up since 3:00 a.m., and I'm totally TOTALLY exhausted...but OMG, I had a GREAT TIME! I have no idea how it happened but I just unpacked 26 new chids too...will post pics tomorrow

Shady...not a true Red Den to be seen anywhere!

Susie, our bus was the bus parked over in the corner by the church. I went on the bus as a guest, it's not my club so nobody would know me except a few people.

I laid out a few of the tear-off sheets and a number of cards I printed too

Haha! That's great, Sue! We parked right next to your bus and we got there about 2pm so we probably passed each other! Can't wait til tomorrow to see those orchid pics!

Hey Tucker! Sorry I missed seeing you, too. I got there sort of late. Hope you got some nice stuff. It was a wonderful day, wasn't it? Not too hot this year (thank goodness)!

Yeah it was a beautiful day, weather just right. Susie I went for the ghost but that yellow den that you got kept provoking me. It took all my will not to get one. It's really beautiful. Congrats.
