Saginaw Valley Orchid Show
Well, since nobody else has announced it...
Saginaw Valley Orchid Society (SVOS) show is this weekend (Nov 28-29) at the old Holiday Inn (new Midland Convention Center & Resort or some such dumb name). Show site is in Midland Michigan, at Eastman and Wackerly.
Anyway, we are all set up and people should come. Free! Recover from your Black Friday excess by coming to the show. Snap up some good deals. I'll be selling some phals dirt cheap, if nothing else. Say hi when you come by.
Enjoy
Rob

I keep forgetting about this show -- and I don't know why ... it's the only show this time of year. Then again, considering it's on Thankgiving weekend, I'm typically off visiting family that weekend. Is it a big show, Rob? I don't think I've ever attended that one. Ah well, even if I wasn't visiting family, I still would not likely have gone this time. Went to the doctor's yesterday and discovered I have strep throat. (oh "happy happy joy joy" )
I hope sales go great for ya, Rob!

It isn't a huge show, but bigger than some in the state. I think there were ~400 entries? Some nice plants! We gave three AOS awards. Always the same weekend (Thanksgiving weekend).
Traffic was _very_ slow today. Weather was mid fifties or so, and perfect. For being outside... Not good orchid show weather. So, hoping it rains or sleets or something tomorrow so that people will show up, or I'm going to have trouble getting all these plants home! *grin*
