Tampa Orchid Club "Orchid Expo" - Orchid Board

Laura, Linda and I joined the Tampa Orchid Club last month and we've all volunteered to help out on the final day (Nov 1)...but we'll be there Friday (10/30) to get our shopping done

Is anybody else planning on going? We're really looking forward to it

I plan on going on Friday, as part of my belated birthday haul. I'll be sure to set aside some spare cash, just in case I see something I like. I hope Plantio la orquidea will bring some bolleas to the show. They have Lawrenceana in their catalog, and it's one of the plants I'm after.

Can't go saturday or sunday, I'm afraid.

I take the bus, so I figure I'll be there around two or three. I'll be wearing a black shirt that says "Archaic" in off-white letters. I might be wearing a black fedora. I'll do my best to get there early - we'll see if traffic and weather permit.

I went! It was fantastic. Lots of stuff to see (and smell).

Laura and I were there from 12-2...I came home with five new babies

All but one of them are in bloom...

Slc Psychomanniana (mounted)
Aeridovanda Somsri Sunlight (fragrant)
Phal appendiculata (mounted and tiny!)
Phal lamelligera
and a plug from a tall blush colored Den that I can't remember the name of

We also picked up a big beautiful floofer for our friend Linda (catlady) as she and her husband need a little pick-me-up right now...I think this yellow beauty should work
