I was there about 1100 Saturday. Would have been there earlier, but the Looky-Loos had I-75 backed up to see a wrecked motorcycle.
I bought 3 from Krull-Smith. Their Catasetums were HUGE. There were 5 or 6 varieties early on. 2 other vendors has a few Catasetums or Cycnoches, but they were small and expensive. I also bought 1 Dendrochilum from Featherstone Orchids and some supplies from Lois Hicks.
The big reason I like this show is the timing. So many of the other local shows are now in the Winter/early Spring so the snowbirds and tourists are available and not as much is blooming or out of dormancy. If my schedule allows I may peruse the Tampa show at USF on Halloween unless I hit the Brevard County show near my parents'.
Haven't even downloaded the pictures I took, yet.

1 Ctsm. Donna Wise 'Lee' x Ctsm. Susan Fuchs 'Burgundy Chips'
1 Ctsm. albovirens
1 Ctsm. tabulare
I would have bought a copy of the big yellow sample plant he had, but he didn't know what it was. Looked like a Clowesetum to me. I have pictures of it that I'll post later.

Krull-Smith
Krull-Smith had 5 or 6 different ones, maybe 20 total plants. They were selling very well, too. Otherwise I think they just had Cattleyas.
Featherstone had some small ones, Jean Monniers & William Clarkes and one other vender had some puny looking cycnodes.
Did you see the HUGE Crown Voodoo cross on display behind the Krull-Smith booth?

Marilyn, it would be so much fun if you were here with us
I must say...some of my closest friends and I met because of our love and curiosity about orchids. We have such a great time when we do our get-togethers!
Of course, Laura and I still believe we were probably sisters in a previous life
