Bumping this back up since the event is just a couple weeks away:
Friday (Sept 3) will kick off with a field trip into the Cascades to look for numerous species of amphibians and reptiles (preregistration is required for this event). That evening back at the Embassy Suites is a Herpetological Lecture series featuring John E. Simmons and Mark Pepper. The lecture Series is FREE and open to the public.
Saturday (Sept 4) is the vendor show from 10:00am-4:00pm at the Embassy Suites and will feature reptiles, amphibians, bromeliads, orchids, tropical fish and invertebrates, aquatic plants, custom terrariums and aquariums, carnivorous plants and more. Throughout the day on Saturday will be various lectures and workshops, which are free upon paid admission into the show. Also, beginning at 3:00 pm you'll be able to redeem your ticket for a free drink...and at 4:00 pm we will begin our live auction with all proceeds going to TWI's amphibian conservation programs.
The conference halls each night will be open until 12 midnight to allow plenty of opportunities for discussions and socializing. The bar & grill at the Embassy Suites is also open and serving food until then...so everything you need can be found there.
On Sunday Todd and Christina are generously opening up their home and hosting a BBQ (starting at noon) for those who are still in town and would like to get together.
This is looking to be a great event! If you are interested in attending or vending, you can find all the info you need (as well as pertinent forms) at
