I have a home in Chicago as well as Arizona, and I try to be in Chicago during the Orchid Festival, just so I can attend. I won't make it this year unfortunately, but I highly recommend it to anyone withing travelling distance (and especially any Chicagoland folks who have never attended). You won't be sorry.

The local grower-hosts are all excellent people, and there is a great group of guest growers from all over the USA and the world. Everyone loves to share their knowledge. A good place to learn, see lots of orchids and of course BUY!
