Sydney International Orchid Show 3-5 April
Hi guys, I don't think anything has been posted on the board about this show, but having just come back from there it was great! It's on for two more days, so if you're in the Sydney area, its well worth checking out.
It's at the Castle Hill Showgrounds.

I've heard it's a great show, I hope to make it one year. Can you post any photos at all?

I'm so sorry Bolero (and Sonya, who I promised to take photos for) but I was completely overwhelmed and forgot to take pics. Was all caught up in chatting about the technical side of growing my babies with people who shared my passion. It was my first fair, so I'll try and do better next time.
Its a shame I didn't get pics of the bromelaid seller, was the most amazing sight. I'm not a big fan of broms, but they were all beautifully presented in a rainbow of colours in an area of about 10 square foot. Was breathtaking.
I picked up a flier for the Melbourne fair while I was there, and that will apprently be held on 21st, 22nd & 23rd of August at Springers Leisure Centre, Keysborough. From the looks of it it should be a lot bigger than the Sydney leg as its combined with the Melbourne Orchid Spectacular. But I'm just reading from a pamphlet here. All I can say is that if its like the one that I went to, it should be awesome with lots of great vendors, a wide range of plants and a lot of fun in the atmosphere.
If you love orchids, it'll be worth the trip.

Hey that's ok having no pics. I usually go to the Melbourne one and I am sure I'll be making the trip this year. They have changed the dates and location so it will be interesting to see why.
