Orchid Society of Alberta - Annual Show & Sale

Since its inception in 1976, the Society has presented an annual orchid show and sale. The theme of this year's show is “Orchids in Focus”
There will be more than two dozen beautifully arranged displays showcasing hundreds of exotic orchids from all parts of the globe, so don't forget your camera. In addition to the live orchids, there will competitions for the best educational displays, cut flower arrangements, orchid artwork and orchid photography.

The OSA will also be hosting one of the largest orchid sales in Western Canada with vendors from all over the continent selling orchids for every environment and experience level.

This year the show will take place February 24 - 26, 2006 at Grant MacEwan College, South Campus. 7319 29th Ave.
Displays and plant sales will be open to the public at the following times:
• Friday, Feb. 24 - noon to 8pm
• Saturday, Feb 25 - 9 am to 5pm
• Sunday, Feb 26 - 9 am to 5pm

There will be various public talks and workshops that will be presented during the show - dates and times TBA.
Admission prices are:$6 for adults, $5 for seniors and children under 12 are admitted for free. The admission price includes parking in the East parking lot of the campus.
