redlands was great last year...cant wait to go again...so much more knowledge of orchids...so many more "wants" on my list...so many more...so many....

That was the WOC but I think a lot of the same people will be there. But I do think the WOC had many more vendors. Just between you and I, I wouldn't mind if they had it every other month.

Pembroke Pines just a stone throw away, I live in Miramar. This is my first time down to the Redlands Show but if it is half as cool as the WOC I will not be dissappointed. I already have a couple I hope to get from Andy Orchids

I will be going for sure! I have been looking forward to this one for months. It looks like the vendors will be most of the same as the Tamiami Show in January. All the Homestead growers, the popular central Florida growers and a few out of the area exotic vendors. The nice thing is it is in the Fruit and Spice park versus an exhibition hall. So it is a day with orchids plus outside in an arboretum/jungle-ish environment for only $5 admission. It will be very hot and humid for us (maybe rainy, 50-50 chance this time of year) but the orchids will be loving it! I love the whole thing! Martin Motes will be there Sunday so the Vanda lovers can talk to our vanda guru. I will probably go on Sunday. I can sometimes get some good deals on closing day plus go the the Vanda talk in the morning. Hope to see some OB people there!

what vendors do you frequent down here? i usually go to mickeys orchids in ft lauderdale and grow more in davie. i also use broward orchid supply for supplies. i have also bought some orchids at the coconut lady (dont remember her name)
