I think I will downgrade my collection

I haven't gotten rid of any since the last time I wrote. I do wish I could trim the orchid numbers to thirty. Currently, I am above forty. I do plan to trim the number of other plants a little.

I'm down to nine from thirteen. A tiny number compared to many of you, I know! Four of them went to my society's raffle table, so I hope somebody else will have better luck with them than I did. I've got one more that may go this month, then I will wait until spring to reassess the remaining ones, which would be only Phals and Paphs.

The table in the kitchen/dining room where I keep all the plants is going to get very crowded soon, though, as I will be bringing in the outside plants (not orchids).

It's not easy. I feel for all of you who are downsizing, for whatever your particular reason.

I am currently bringing in my other plants. I do a few every day.

I envy you. Nine orchids would be a nice, easy to manage number.
