Default Where to buy quality species endemic to Brasil?

Hi,

I would be most appreciative for recommendations on quality vendors in the USA that specialize in or have a large collection of orchids native to Brasil.

Thank you

Miranda Orchids has facilities in FL and Brazil. I've spoken to Francisco at the SEPOS show a couple times, and bought a very nice but non-Brazilian plant from him. Very nice guy! I don't remember specific species but there were several of the rupiculous Laelia/Hoffmanseggella on the table, plus larger Cattleya species.

I am familiar with Miranda Orchids and Francisco. Unfortunately, I have ordered from him and was less than pleased with the quality of the roots on the plants I received.

Easiest is to Google the orchid names you want and see which nurseries are offering for sale.

This is probably the best way to go. There are thousands of Brazilian endemics! I can't imagine a single vendor having all or even a significant portion of them available. What orchid group are you most interested in?

Miranda Orchids is hands down one of the best Cattleya vendors in the country and Francisco is one of the most knowledgeable people in the US regarding Brazilian ecosystems and their native orchids. I'd give him another chance.
