If you wanted to enter the piece in a show for judging with only one of the chids blooming, the problem would be the fact that there are two other plants in the arrangement. It might not be an AOS "rule" (not sure) but I've discussed it with people who do a lot of shows and some judges and it would be frowned upon.

Very nicely mounted. Should be quite an impressive display after all of the plants have grown into specimens and colonized the rest of the mount.

At first, when I looked at your picture, I thought it was an interesting flowered head-dress on your bird.

Very cool mount! I thought at first the flowers were coming from the duck as well. LOL
