The Eulophia would grow very well for you. It's one of the easiest of all orchids to grow.

It needs to stay moist to wet during the growing season. A very loose terrestrial mix, like other Cymbidiums, suits it best. I can water mine every day here during the summer.

My friends in St Louis keep them outdoors in the summer. It grows steadily and strongly outdoors through our extreme summer heat, under about 50% shade cloth. It cannot take frost, but is good all the way down to just above freezing.

It needs regular fertilizing and regular summer water or it does not bloom.

It will quickly fill a pot of any size. I had one completely filling a 24" / 61cm glazed ceramic pot. It froze one year when we had an unexpected freeze while I was out of town. I was just barely able to lift it when it was dry. I am soon going to move my plant, in a 6" / 15cm pot, back into that same glazed ceramic pot.
