Packing orchids (luggage)

Hi everyone,

I will be going to an international flight this May and I will be packing a few orchids on my luggage. The country where I am going to is not at all interested in customs and I passed many times with plants at my handbag.

This time however there is quite a few and I have to put them to my luggage. I will be only putting t shirts and soft clothes to that luggage but could anyone give their insight on how to pack these items. I am thinking of bubble wrap but I am not sure how much more or less I would need.Again, It will have no hard materials such as books.

My real home is at Turkey so I usually pick a few orchids bring them to home and my family caring them for 5 months and so on ) They love the weather becaue plenty of sun and moisture even though outşsde is not too hot.

The orchids here are crazy (US) so bought a few I can grab a few to my hand luggage as well but any suggestions on how to pack for luggage so they arrive safe would be perfect.

You might want to try the way that the real good vendors that sell through mail orders pack them.
They use tightly folded (creased) newspaper, masking tape to strap, ....packaging peanuts or easter basket grass to secure the medium and bubble wrap can also be incorporated.
In this case (your's) you'll want to save space while safely wrapping to limit any damage to the plants. Take your time and do it carefully and you should be well pleased.
