Default Repotting

I decided to repot a zygo. hybrid today as it kept drying out really quickly. I didn't quite expect to see this, I'm not sure where the bark disappeared to.

That's the trickiest part of the garden, the window faces west, but us shaded by the rest of the house, it's a north facing wall on the left hand side of the picture, a huge Hydrangea petiolaris grows up it. The border only gets sun for a couple of hours in high summer, so this year I planted a whole range of shade lovers in it.

I'm having trouble grasping those orientations but, I certainly get the concept.same here. I have lots of pictures but don't want to image shrink them. Lol
