Slow - Why is this forum so slow?

I'm currently browsing a few of the other forums related to my hobbies and this forums is winning the slowest of the year award.

Many of the discussions and pages load only at a considerate delay. Posting a reply make a page hang forever, unless I double click on submit the reply, and then it shows that I've edited the post even if the change was done 10-20 seconds ago.

What's up with all the lag here? It's clearly not an issue on the user end because I am a member of several other discussion boards and they don't seem to have this lag issue.

It's the slowest you can find but the most dynamic of them all.
When the page finally loads you'll be sure to find at least 5 answers to your question.

It is an issue here that needs to be addressed.
