Happy orchid Sunday. I'll give it a go. Well I just got back walking the dogs. I need to be out picking up dog poo so I can mow the lawn, it's a bit over grown. I spent yesterday freezing my Cody's chicken stuffing and canning tomatoes. I should also do another batch today and change the sheets on the bed. I'll not get it all done but ...... oh well.

I think I need to pick beans as well. And then there is of course the watering of the orchids. And looking at my first Bulbo to bloom ya!!!!!!!!! So one more thing I need to do is upload all my pictures again so I can put one up of it. This one I have to show off. Have a wonderful day.

Drained Vanda seedlings from overnight soak. Fed dogs. Began slow cooker for dinner. Checked E-mail and did some paperwork. Cleared canine land mines from yard. Now to water orchids.

I've had a nice Sunday as well. Lazy morning, overcast and humid with afternoon in the mid 80's. Taking our pup Sophie out for her morning walk then back inside for a nice coffee. Goofed around online, watered orchids, cooked breakfast and got ready for a road trip to Leesburg VA to Al's orchids. Yeah! My husband and son came along as did Sophie, she loves a trip in her punkin seat anywhere.

I wanted a small orchid basket and a cork mount and of course had to see what else Al had that I needed. I ended up buying a tiny Phal, Java love. It's a tiny thing and cute as a bug. The afternoon was nice, now back home to start dinner. Great day!

Woke up and watered some of my orchids...not all have the same schedule. Then I went for a coffee. That's a latin/south america habit...to go out, sit on a bar/coffee house somewhere outside and have a chat while drinking a coffee.
Then did some shopping, had lunch, cheked my e-mail, also some pages about zigopetalum culture, practiced guitar exercises, coffee again enjoying a late 81 F afternoon... Ended up thinking I could have done more...but what the h**, it's sunday.

Default Sunday.

Read Chicago Tribune, made breakfast, misted orchids, ran the sweeper and went to Ikea! I'll never get that credit card payed off at this pace.

Seems to be a theme in this thread, water orchids. I did so this morning and found two of them to have started spikes (yea). Went out to lunch with Hubby. Accomplished nothing in the afternoon, fed horses and made supper. TV tonight, and , of course internet.....checking OB. Spent yesterday on a trip to Marlow's.....all day trip......4 hours one way.
Brought home three new ones from there. Repotted them this morning while watering. Dog is very upset with me for neglecting her all morning.

jkofferdahl, I have not been to Floradise orchids...yet. It sounds like I may have another grower to check out. Al's is only about 45 minutes away and I visit fairly often, I just love his greenhouse and always find a treasure. He has been very busy cleaning and rearranging everything to accommodate his neck as he recently had surgery and having so much hanging high up has been a problem for him. His greenhouse looks great! He is a character.
