Hi Wogga

Funny story behind it...a friend gave me a division of one of her plants with a tag that says Sc Jewel Osmond.
I saw pictures of the blooms and they look alot like tibicinus. Naturally, I was thrilled

I then found out that the Sc on the name tag stands for Spohriocattleya and even though I love what this plant has the potential of becoming, it was frustrating to find out that I didn't have what I thought I had

At the sale we went to on Sunday, my very tall husband hit his head on a very long stem hanging from a pot near the ceiling. We were so amazed by the size of it, we looked at the tag and... Voila! Schomburgkia tibicinus!!!
I got a small one but I'm very, very happy about it
