Default OrchidWiz Support not responding

I need help folks! I have just replaced my PC and need to install OrchidWiz on it. I have a current subscription, valid for a couple more updates and have had it installed on my old PC for almost 3 years.

I did not know the best way to proceed. Should I reinstall using the 16 or more disks I have and would I need a new activation code.

I contacted support@orchidwiz.com 6 days ago and have sent two further emails to them asking for help and heard nothing back. Does their support actually exist, are they on holiday, is it a one man enterprise that takes a long time to respond? I am feeling a bit miffed at the moment.

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm very surprised at the lack of response as I have had very good support in the past including several on-going email "dialogues"

Have you tried the phone number on their website? Perhaps a voice mail message will provide some additional information

Don't you have the original OrchidWiz installation cd ? I had the same issue and was told that the licence covers 2 downloads on separate computers. I just updated my new computer using the cd

Yes i do have the original and I can try your option but I have 15 updates as well as the original. Would I need to load all 15 as well as the original?

Cbutchman, thanks for your reply. As I live in the UK phoning would be an expensive option.

You can download the product - though I suspect it will be a lengthy download. If you can set it up and walk away, it might be worth it.

Usually the annual "big" update is a full product, so you shouldn't have to upload more than 4 disks.

I agree, the latest annual update would be the same as a new customer just buying it so should be current and complete. It is version 12.0 And then I have I think 2 updates since. (12.1 and 12.2 which I just installed)

I have always had replies when I e-mailed them but sometimes it took a couple days. It is only a 2 person support team as far as I know.

Silken and Carrie, thanks both. I had not realised that the main updates were full versions. I will try installing version 12 plus later updates.

However I'm still not happy with OrchidWiz support and wait to see if I eventually get a reply.

I'm pretty sure that is the case that the entire program should be there. But yes, that is a long time for a response. Being a small support team it makes me wonder if they are away but then they should have an automated response at least to say so. Maybe send them another e-mail if you haven't already. Good luck.
