Willamette Orchid Society Show Here I Come!

I'm headed to Eugene OR tomorrow for the Willamette Orchid Society show and sale. I'm putting together my shopping list. There will be a couple of Paphs and a Phrag for sure if my buddy Helene has what I preordered. I'll be sure to take pictures. I've not been to this show before so have no idea how big it is. Any chance to buy nice orchids in the dead of winter works for me!! Be back Sunday with pictures.

Terri, I'm jealous. Eugene is soooo beautiful this time of year (at least compared to here.) I'm getting homesick.

My favorite vendor Helene didn't bring anything from my list. I think she forgot I was coming. However, I did not come home empty handed. I bought the following:

Phrag. Sedenii 'Adie' in spike
Paph. liemianum also in spike
Paph. Pink Sky (Paph. Lady Isabel TK x delenatii 'Vietnamese Lady')
Mtssa. Dark Star 'Darth Vadar'

The Mtssa. is just a tiny thing. Probably won't bloom for years. Everything else is BS or NBS.

The show was not a judged show. It was set up in a mall, and was very small. I still managed to spend a couple hours there taking pictures and trying to decide what to buy. I think the WOS uses it to earn money.
