Help needed- testing labs.

Hello All,

today at work I've had an unusual request: a friend came asking about testing of plant material for content.
Turns out a guy he knows has successfully treated his mother's esophageal cancer with homeopathic plant mix, his only problem now is checking the quality of the plant products he receives from his supplier(s), i.e. if the seller is truly providing him the genuine stuff.
I was wondering if any of you have contact for testing labs working with botanicals, and providing services to the general public.

Ursula, first let me extend best wishes to your friend and his mother, I hope the are able to successfully battle her cancer.

Regarding the advice you asked for, I can't help, but I would strongly caution your friend not to embark on any course of treatment for a serious disease unless under the guidance and direction of a medical professional. In this case, a professional with many years of experience treating cancer. If there is a recommendation to be made regarding laboratories, it should probably come from the medical professional.

Let me clarify, that this treatment was suggested by the patient's treating doctor, and for a case that had a seemingly low chance of cure with conventional medical treatments. From what I understood from the story, the "plant treatment" and just 4 out of 16 rounds of scheduled radiation were enough to send the cancer into remission, with all the blood work factors improving dramatically.
