I got 2 Cattleya bag babies from our Lowes in 2012 and that's the last year they had them. Home Depot never did.

Found today: Cattleya walkeriana 'Carmela' bagged orchid
As the title says, I found this one today. Nice healthy little seedling, Better Gro bagged orchid, at Lowes. Just $6.95.
Just updated the post with photos.
Anyone have an idea what the WCL on the tag means?

!!!!!
I just went to the Lowes Web site and made sure it was set to a store nearby. Then I searched on 'Orchid'. Among the silk plants, tile, lavender toilet seats (!?) and cabinet pulls are a number of larger Gubler and Better-Gro orchids, no bag babies. The site can't say whether they are in stock at my store. It tells me to call the store for availability.
At the Home Depot Web site, it shows orchids are available at local stores, but says the selection varies, so I should go to the store. They do sell Better-Gro 4" / 10cm pot Cattleyas for $15.96, online only, only for shipping to your home. They are sold by color with no identification. Only orange ones remain in stock.
They also sell ship-to-home Just Kill With Ice phals and anthuriums.

One of the Lowe's in my area usually carries bag babies--I've found named Catt hybrids, named Brassavola nodosa cultivars and hybrids (including Yellow Bird), Epicatts, and so on. The last time I was in I found a nice, healthy Dendrobium aggregatum (among others). The plants were in good shape, too, though on the dry side. Prices were right (between $9 and 13 depending on the size), too....
So convenient to be able to get lumber for more plant shelves and orchids to fill them in one stop (lol).

Lowes on the east side of Athens, Clarke County Georgia. I was in there the other day, they no longer have the Walkerianas, but do have Cattleya hybrids. The next closest store is in Oconee county Georgia. No walkerianas, but they did have big healthy Dendrobium spectabile and some Latouria Dendrobium hybrids, as well as Cattleyas etc.
The specific Better Gro plants that are distributed to various stores seems to be random rather than by design. I would just make a habit of stopping by Lowes when you pass one while driving around. Just check what each store has; you may get lucky! That is what I have been doing.
