Talking A new spike and an orchid order

fellow Orchid Enthusiasts!

Today I found a spike on my oncidium alliance NoID orchid!
I purchased it earlier this year at Trader Joe's.
Unfortunately I don't remember what the flowers looked like
Here is for hoping that it will grow well and actually produce some blooms for me!

Also, this coming week I am expecting an order from Santa Barbara Orchid Estate!
Can't wait!
I ordered one Laelia anceps 'Ruby Heart', one Laelia anceps var. veitchiana, one Cattleya Landate and one little Oncidium Twinkle 'Fragrance Fantasy'.

The two Laelias are for my balcony. I would like to see how well they grow outside for me
The Cattleya might go under my grow lights. I have not decided yet.
The Oncidium is replacing a plant that I lost a couple of months ago.

I had an infestation of red spider mites. First I thought it was fungal and treated accordingly. By the time I recognized what was actually eating away at my plants, I had lost most of my collection on my two grow shelves
Well, now I know that spider mites also come in red ...

So, the new spike is really awesome to see and I am REALLY exited to get my new plants!!!

Happy growing everybody!

Margit

Thank you lotis146.
I hope they are all GONE!!!
Because I misdiagnosed in the beginning and time went by, I did not mess around & purchased a treatment at the local garden center!
