I'm sorry to hear that, Shep. Any idea what happened? I have been extra careful to keep water away from that part of the plants, so I'm sure that wasn't the cause..

Ray-
Obviously it wasn't anything that you did. I'm just going to chalk it up to shipping stress and an environmental change. I keep everything outside late spring through early fall and I'm wondering if it wasn't heat-stress related. They did get some rain early in the week as well, so it could have been that. The potting media wasn't overly wet or overly dry, so I don't think that was it at all.

Ray, I am with Shep here. I cannot pinpoint what went wrong. My rotted sheath was hiding behind another leaf so it could have been lack of sun to dry it out after a cool humid weekend. My plant is healthy and I still one sheath that is opening well and hope to have a picture in about 10 days.

GORGEOUS! I bet the smell is amazing The buds on my second sheath are just starting to poke out now but the scent from the 3 buds that are already open (from the first sheath) fill the whole front of the house ♡
