I don't have any specific photography lesson sites to recommend, but I bet some of the good photographers here can point us in that direction.

Yes sir! I have just been using my iphone, which is ok for most things. I would like something that picks up more detail. I do know that lighting is a big part of a good photo.

Here's mine today
My camera is a Canon Powershot that I got for Christmas several years ago. It was like.. $100-something back then, I think.
If you don't mind getting a used camera, you can get an old Canon model for like $40 on Amazon.

Like I said mine has three sheaths and buds are fully out on one and the other two just started squeezing out! I am dying in anticipation!!!! I can't wait to see everyone else's as well!

I lost one sheath due to rot. The other is doing fine, should fully open in a couple of weeks.

Both sheaths were a loss due to bud rot. Rats. Oh well. We'll repot in a 7" pot and let 'er rip.
