Default THANKS Ups

Got a package from ups today...apparently the driver couldn't be bothered to walk AROUND the plant stand. Nor did he have the common courtesy to let me know he knocked it over. Luckily, other than some broken pots and a giant mess there wasn't any significant damage to any of my chids.

All shipping companies have "bad eggs", but I think UPS is the worst.

I had a UPS guy once tell me the damage to my package was due to "improper packaging". The photo showed tire tracks across the box. How in hell am I supposed to pack properly for THAT?!?!?!?

It's quite alarming that they EXPECT you to! Makes it sound like running over packages is a thing they do often.

I hope UPS hears about this and sees the picture.

Just curious how you knew it was UPS that did this if you didnt see it happen. Ive definitely had instances where I thought I made a quick save only to have something topple over after I am several feet away already.

I'm not saying this is the case, but I try not to make assumptions before I know all the facts.

I don't have difinitive proof so Im not going to call and make accusations but that plant stand has been there for a couple of weeks and withstood thunderstorms and some serious wind. I have had a pot ot 2 tip over if I didnt realize it was getting windy in time to bring the plants in but the stand itself is very sturdy. We have a great dane, and English Mastiff along with custody of 2 very rambunctious grandkids (5&2) and they've all knocked into it at some point or other without it falling. It's been hot as heck here today without even the slightest breeze. No dogs or children were outside unsupervised so by process of elimination the UPS guy is getting the blame I'm just grateful that none of the plants were damaged but you're right, it is just an assumption...

Lol we actually have one that is part of our security system but it's aimed at the driveway...if you zoom in on the pic and you know what youre looking for you can see it in the window just above the green "beware" sign Probably isn't a bad idea to see if I can change the angle to include the front walk tho or add another, you can never be too safe and I couldn't agree more LOL

Goodness, I'm glad none of the chid's was damaged. I want to put a camera in the house so I can see how the basset works at getting to the dog food. It's in a big plastic bin but she can get into it if I don't put a gallon jug and put the ladder in front of it.
