am I allowed to offer a few free plants here?
Default am I allowed to offer a few free plants here?

So it has been years since I hung out on this board but you guys were where I came when I first needed information and wanted to learn, so in my current predicament I thought I would come back here first.

Am I allowed to use this board to offer to give away some plants? is that ok?

Short version life upheavals and divorce has me living with my parents and there is no good place for my plants at their house. There is a toddler and dogs that will knock over pots or otherwise damage and destroy plants and she lives in a super hot area with no good outdoor space. With trying to get everything else in my life in order I barely remember to water right now and they are just hiding in the bathroom. So I think I would rather, shall we say "rehome" the plants I have left to someone with the time energy and setup that I dont have.

People have rehomed plants on here. Most times the recipient pays the shipping. What are you giving away?

You should post a list of what you have in the classifieds. I'd be interested in seeing what you have, and could perhaps offer you something in trade suitable to your current situation.

Well im glad its ok at least! lol. I have never shipped an orchid and have no idea how to to be honest. I would love someone in the general area (im in southern california) but if it comes to shipping I will take a look and see if I have the time. I have 2 cyms deep burgundy, one yellow and purple phal in moss and one other phal that was a keiki (I havent used that word in awhile did I even spell it right! haha) in bark. if I remember the parent plant was a white and purple but cant remember the pattern. I lost several plants to a mite infestation from a mini rose bush and the parent was one grrr..... and one small yellow cat, just caught a fungal infection during the move so its seperated right now to be repotted and treated hopefully before I lose it.

I'm so sorry about your life right now. Good luck to you and I'll let others take them off your hands as mine are full right now. Chin up, it will get better.

Sorry to hear about the way things have gone. I hope & pray for you that things turn around sooner than later... and you can get more orchids. Certainly people here will help you out and take those off your hands, that's nice of you to offer.

Best of luck!
