You could take those wooden shelves down and get those 5 shelve racks. You can even put lights on them. You have room for at least 2, that is 10 shelves for plants. They can be on wheels to move if you want or leave the wheels off.

That is what I did, too--got rid of most of the larger orchids.

I sure don't want my hubby to see this post. He'll disown me
I did consider those, but I decided against them because I don't really want to have more lights than I have and I think without , the plants on the lower shelves would not get enough light. It does get super hot out there when the lights are on. I think I am already cooking some of my chids

Opps, sorry. I was just thinking about how you could fit more orchids in there Didn't know about the heat.

That's pretty sweet that he built all that for you! I'm happy for now that my guy just ignores it (sort of). It does seem though that you could squeeze a few more in there! Ah such a bad influence some of us are. That's a nice space, it does seem a great place to call your own.

I agree that fall is a little stressful, especially if you've acquired more plants over the summer! I haven't got to using any lights yet as I worry a bit about burning the house down (paranoid, I know). I'll probably have to revert to it this year...but la-de-da... Thanks for sharing!!!
