Took us 4 hours to see all 60 vendors, I hope someone took pictures to post. I can tell you that I have walked enough for my exercise today and probably tomorrow also. Ended up leaving with only 5 orchids, I think the lowest amount of plants that I have ever left Redland with only because I am on the hunt for certain orchids that I need to fill in my wish list. I mean everything looked fantastic.
I had a great time as usual. The weather was a little hot but there was a nice breeze. I picked up a few nice plants. I got three awesome phalaenopsis from Joseph Wu and I ran into Ben Belton who sometimes posts on this forum. It was a pleasure to meet Ben and exchange some orchid information. All in all, it was a great day. Just another day in paradise.
I purchased a Sedirea japonica, Bulbophyllum blumei, Bulbophyllum lobbii Sulawesi form, Bulbophyllum masdevalliaceum and Bulbophyllum vaginatum 'Joyce'. Right now I have 182 orchids and when I reach 200 that is it, more then I can handle but I will give it a try, so I am only looking these days for certain species.
For those who attended this year, can anyone confirm that Far East Agriculture (from Malaysia) was actually there? I made pre-order, but they are missing in action.
UPS delivered my pre-order from Bela Vista last Fri! Here is the group photo (everything except Drosera is from them). Very nice plants (for imports). Phrag. vittatum is the highlight for me (front row, next to Drosera):
