Default Building a #@+¥ing ark

Well, really not building an ark just yet, but seriously, it is only April 19th, and so far, 13 days of rain and gray this month! Most of those rain days have been day-long drizzle. Today it has been a complete monsoon, and with the ground saturated, I'm a bit worried about flooding (not so much me personally, more concerned for others in the region).

My plants mostly seem OK, but one Vanda I've needed to pull indoor due to leaves rotting.

Anyone else getting soaked this month?

There is actually a serious storm brewing right now. It just got dark all of a sudden, and now I'm waiting for the torrential downpour to start. Suck because my plants have had enough, and I'm worried about root rot.

We're definitely low on rainfall so far this spring. Just this morning I ran about 200 gal of stored rainwater in to fill my bog garden.

You are likely getting what Georgia has had most of the day today. The storms we had were not as intense as what Alabama received, but it has poured. I am worried about root ro as well. I hope everyone can go back to getting "normal" rainfall!

Oh, you're in GA? Yeah we've both been getting hit hard then. I'm sick of it there seems to have been an explosion of slugs because of all the wet, cool conditions. I woke up this morning and noticed all my green root tips had been gnawed off. Tried the beer in a saucer method to no avail. I did catch 4 palmetto bugs with this method though
