Is $20 a good price for Den. Speciosum x Kingianum hybrid?
I saw a pretty large orchid at King Scoopers (King Scoopers is kinda of a big deal to me lol) its had tons of canes. I would say about 25 canes in each pot. I didn't notice any fragrance? I am going to an orchid show on March in Denver and I need to be good. However, if it's worth the price, I may go back and get it. In addition, it needs to be fragrant. Maybe, I didn't smell anything because it was early morning, like 6:10 on a very dark and snowing morning? What do you guys think?

Dendrobium (speciosum x kingianum) [note that species names aren't capitalized] is Dendrobium Delicatum; also occurs as a natural hybrid known as Den. xdelicatum. These are almost always highly fragrant though the odd clone may be less so or not at all. You're right that time of day makes a difference, my kingianum are most fragrant from late morning to late afternoon, generally in the warmer parts of the day.
And yes, I'd say $20 for a large pot of Den. Delicatum is a pretty great deal! I don't know your local orchid show and vendors but I doubt you'll find better deals at the show, though I'm partial to Australian Dens like this so take what I say with a grain of salt...

Beautiful! By the tag this looks like Den. Gracillimum x Delicatum (or [x gracillimum] x [x delicatum] if made with the naturally-occuring hybrids), but unfortunately the RHS Orchid Register doesn't have a record for that cross, or else I'm querying it wrong. Maybe someone with Orchid Wiz or more knowledge of Australian Den hybrids will know the grex name if one has been registered.
In any case it's very nice, great pickup! Is there a nursery name on the tag?

There is another tag that says that it's a Western Orchid with care instructions. This tag can also be found on a lot of phals in the store so hopefully the florist didn't just put it in the pot to make sure there would be care instructions.

I paid $17 for one smaller and with fewer blooms than that. I'd say it's pretty good.

Ahh, they just got in some kingianums! I already bought the hybrid so I can't buy the Kingianum and it's much smaller too. I have been visiting this King scoopers for over a year and this is the first time I see such a variety of orchids available. They even had some paphs last month?! Well I really like the direction they are going in

The hybrid I purchased fills my entire kitchen with a honey-like fragrance and I can't get enough. I am so happy I went out and got it.
