Congratulations! Nice looking plants, potted well! What an unexpected surprise with the extra plant.

Hi,
Good looking plant, wipe off the leaves with some lemon juice on a paper towel to get the spots off and it makes the leaves shine. I have a fireball cymbidium in a pot but keep it outside at the pond.

And you, YOU stinker are the reason I got this one. I kept looking at it, and looking at it, and remembering you saying it was one of your favorite smelling orchids. So it is with me. Question, How big does it get and how big before it will bloom? Mine is very small but many growths, I have re-potted as it was in a 2 inch pot.
Oh and I forgot to say that my friend in Denver that I went to see, he got one also. He is a florist who doesn't really grow orchids, but uses them for his clients. He got one and I told him I was going to bloom mine before he did his. I will make him an addict if it kills me.

The 'Blue Hawaii''s first bloom was on a pseudobulb + leaf under six inches, probably close to five and a half inches. The new growth is six inches. It shouldn't get too much larger than this. I must admit, this is probably my favorite Cattleya.

You guys have talked me into it.....I just this minute ordered Blue Hawaii from Hausermanns . It comes in a 3 inch pot, so I know I'll have to wait for blooms.
