Motes Orchids
An orchid vendor who specializes in Vanda hybrids. If you see other hybrids with "Motes" in their name, it will be a hybrid from Mr. Motes.
Their Vanda hybrids are reasonably priced.
Vanda Hiroshima Choice (1896)
Vanda Blue Buttons x Vanda coerulescens (1970)
Vanda tessellata (pink lip) x Vanda cristata (2062)
Vanda coerulescens x same (1973)
These are all seedlings, miniature, and fragrant. I can't wait for them to arrive.
Orchids by Marlow - Home
I bought another
1. Podangis dactyloceras--this one is mounted.
2. Arachnis Maggie Oei (hookeriana x flos-aeris)--I thought I was choosing a Renanthera histrionica but that wasn't available so I ended up with this plant. It is my understanding that there is a fore-parent of Ren. histrionica in this plant.

Amesiella monticola, which arrived, like... a week ago, from First Rays
and Leptotes bicolor, which just came in this morning, from Carter & Holmes
(I think I recall having seen a Leptotes bicolor for sale at last month's OS meeting, and it would've been cheaper than ordering online because of the lack of shipping, but I couldn't buy anything because they were only taking cash)

So I took a little trip to Porter's Orchids in Michigan.

Got a nice box 'o orchids.

Some catts, milts and a Doritis buyssoniana

A Dendrobium Sirin Beauty 'orange'(that looks pink).

And of course I had to get the Epi. Sexy Pink (that looks red).

My new babies
The ones with no flowers are : Amesiella Monticola, Den. Aberrans X Hisako Haraguchi, andEncyclia Chien Ya Smile.
The single is a Noid Twinkle, very pretty color combination.
The other 3 are Noid Mini Phals I just picked up in Home Depot. I am slowly replacing my big Phals with minis. They are so cute and don't take as much room or care. They flower easier than the big ones for me.

Wow! It looks like a lot of Orchids found new homes in the MidWest region of the USA! I did my share, albeit not as many as you all:
1. A mounted Podangis
2. My first Psycophsis 'Hildos'
3. A replacement Dendrobium 'Micro Chip'
From an eBay vendor, I acquired a Paraphalenopsis labukensis. This is a new one for me too.
