I had a few friends over yesterday for coffee. My friend Linda brought me a beautiful Bc Maikai...which I was admiring just last week when LauraN brought her beauty in to our meeting. Then, Laura comes up to the door carrying a Barkeria scandens...just because she knows I recently discovered my love for Barkeria!

Thanks again, Laura I mounted it today and am now watching for spikes

I am SO lucky to have met some of my best friends through the local orchid club

Speaking of meeting new friends.....tonight is our Maine Orchid Society meeting. It is a good 1 to 1 1/2 hours to get there, and I usually try to make it. However! Nature is playing another "white flakey" game on me! Yup, we are getting another goodly amount of snow. Been snowing since 7:00 a.m!
I'm tellin ya! I feel like hitting something. And we can't get through this snowstorm....but they are already telling us about another one coming in a few days! Yuk! Can someone please please post some more orchid quick before I go bonkers?????
Oh wait...do I smell a Brassavola 'Little Stars'? YES! Whew...just like getting CPR.
