Default Toad on Orchid *MINI*(Both orchid and toad are MINI's)

I thought this was too cute to pass up, and since there are so many froggers as members, I thought this would be enjoyable. This is my Pampas toad (Melanophryniscus stelzneri) sleeping on my Angraecum didieri. By the way, the Angraecum is growing loger roots with nice bright green tips . Also its newest middle leaf has grown about an inch in the last two weeks. This was another aquisition from Andy's Orchids.
By the way this is all happening in my 29 gallon vivarium with two 40 watt 4200K lights flourescent lights. The tank gets hand misted every other day or third day, and I have a ventilation fan over this orchid to dry it out when its wet. I love orchids .

OMG he sings too? He needs a girl toad to sing to I think. I do think he is cute, but I'm a nature freak. I also have a Masters in Evolutionary Biology, specialized in herpatological reproductive behavior. Yeh, that was useful....hence why I am now a public health nurse, lol. I need a vivarium I see....to go along with my three huge fish tanks, 70 orchids and 2 kittens....mashed into my two bedroom condo.

Justin, thats a nice masters to have. I thought I had two females and a male, ends up I have two big fat males, and a skinny female (I can't seem to get her to get fat). I don't think any reproductive behavior, besides singing, is gonna happen in my vivarium any time soon.

I used to keep toads when I got out of college...but local ones..Bufo americanus and B.w. fowlerii...I loved their faces...I could project anything I liked into them. So, of course, my first pair were named Fred and Ethel. (Just names....didn't really know the sex...) Eventually, Fred died...so he was replaced by Julius...Julius and Ethel, another perfect couple...Well, after Julius kicked (too sick to comment on that....) I couldn't leave Ethel alone, and it was about time for a change in her life...so I added Natalie Barney, Radclyffe Hall, and (briefly) Djuna Barnes.....Ethel lasted many years, and I made sure that she was never lonely! Now I just stick with snakes...I have 8 corn snake eggs incubating if anyone in NYC is interested...Take care, Eric

Gotta love the frog gender anatomy, fat males, skinny females. Honestly Tind, I raze you about your frog, but they are the cutiest. I have never seen frogs with color and thought when you first introduced me to your's they were fake.
