Default OBer's go Face to Face

During our trip to Boise to visit our new grand daughter

Grandpa Watch----

I realized we would also be in Becca's neighborhood. A few quick emails for address and directions and it was all set. Conveniently, she was just a few blocks out of the way to the hospital.

We got to spend about a half our talking and discussing several things like hunting, taxidermy and her remodel. Oh yeah, we talked about orchids too!!!!! She has a couple of REALLY nice homes for her plants.

Here is a picture of her large case, her small case and the two of us together.

It is so nice to personally meet people you have developed a friendship with.

Well how awesome is that!?! It really is nice to see folks meet that have only been "blips" on the screen to each other.
No such thing as too many friends.
Love the set up there too!
And it's a pleasure meeting the two of you.

It was really fun meeting Steven and his family! I was so excited to show him my orchidariums, and....he free'd up some space for me in my large orchidarium....now I have more space......and you know what that means! I can purchase a ton of mini's in the spring! Thanks Steven! I can't wait to see your growing space sometime! Oh, and your camera takes much better pictures of my orchidariums too! I need a camera upgrade!

What a wonderful thing to be able to do! I'm so glad it worked out that you guys were able to meet up.

Becca, I'm on the same mission - I need to whittle down a bit before we start looking around for the next project plant!

Thanks for sharing your get together with us - and the pics!

That is so nice! and it's great to see photos too, both members and grow spaces. i'm probably not the only one who's sometimes wondering about the people behind our "call-signs"

now, if anybody needs to free some growing space send me a PM and i'll give you my address...

What a nice visit and thank you both for sharing it. It is nice to see the faces behind the names.

Your orchidarium is beautiful Becca and congrats again to Steven and your family. A great trip all around I imagine.

One thing I forgot to mention is that Becca has a "greeter" which is the first thing you see when you open the door. Think intimidating and "Here kitty, kitty."

Oh, and Becca, part of the reason the pics look pretty nice is Photoshop Elements. I did some adjusting to correct the color a bit. I did not have the white balance set right on my camera. Don't let THAT stop you from thinking "upgrade" though!!!! hehe Truely though, "better" cameras don't always take better pictures.
