Well, it wasn't as good as the last one I saw many years ago.
The penumbral shadow wasn't very obvious, hard to see any shadow at all until the umbral shadow began to cross the moon's face.
The moon during total eclipse, didn't turn very red.
Not as spectacular an eclipse as my last one.
Hello voyager . I saw the moon just start it's eclipse at 5:30 Wed. morning here in Michigan. But to soon the clouds came in and it was gone. Went to Slooh.com and got the full 3 hours of there coverage of the eclipse. And had a great front row seat to the whole thing with lots of comments about what was going on . The Griffith observatory used there telescopes on a live feed of all the action. JamesL
