My hubby actually joined our orchid society, although he is not really interested in the finer points of growing them. He occasionally sits through a (to him, fully boring) meeting...but when there are free orchids to members, as sometimes happens, it's a double scoop for us! There are quite a few couples in our society, and usually only one of them is the true junkie.
