Thanks, Ross. Mine hasn't developed nearly as much as that.. still less than 1/2 inch long. It is also growing a new leaf as well, and that is progressing well. I wonder if I should move it somewhere a bit warmer?

Mine sits in a south window with approx 800 FCs light. Not much sun. Faces away from window. Temps run from high 50s at night to high 60s day (F). When sun shines, temps may get to mid 70s (F). Hope that helps. Also mine is mounted on raft of cedar wood and I dunk it daily in 125ppm fertilizer.

Yes, Ross, that helps a lot. My temps are quite a bit cooler than that - I don't think its got above 60 recently. Mine is mounted on tree fern, it gets misted daily and watered once a week. I'm going to move to where it gets warmer during the day and I'll see if that makes any difference.

Also, if the roots are exposed like the one I have, try moving up to more frequent water/fertilizer. I also have a fan blowing directly onto all the orchids 24/7 to assure the xposed roots dry out over night. :goodluck:

The roots are exposed, but they get soaked every morning with the misting, and the tree fern holds the moisture for the day and eventually dries out overnight. I heard they like it moist... Thanks for the tips!! Much appreciated. :biggrin:
