My Hausermann's Order Came Today! YAY!

I cannot say how pleased I am with my order from Hausermann's so far. The plants came well packaged. There is no sign of shipping stress or mechanical damage on any of the plants. The medium on the plants is still moist, even given how warm it has been. Everything looks great so far.

I'm super pleased with the first plant I opened though. I've had a Phal Violacea on my wish list for a while. Hausermann's had one that was in spike/bud, for 5$ more than the one that wasn't in bud. I was thinking I would get this teeny plant, not this gigantic monster!!! Check it out!



It's not in bud, but it has two spikes, one of which is branching. I'm quite pleased!

I also purchased Phal. Yu Pin Pearl, because I'd read that the leaves were purple. Wow! Talk about purple! Really lovely little guy!



Tolumnia Genting Angel - with new growth on it, which I always love to see.



And... finally... Neostylis Lou Sneary.



If everything really is as healthy and fabulous as it looks right now, I'll definitely order from Hausermann's again!

Exciting! I've been there a couple times and love it! One thing I have noticed with all my plants from them is that the ones in moss are packed pretty dense. I just repotted several that were still a little moist after two weeks!!

Only one of my plants came in moss and the moss seems to be fairly loose. I did fluff it up a bit after I opened the plants though. Thanks for the tip though!

I do think the phal. violacea will need to be repotted. I'm deciding if I want to do it now, or later, since it's in spike. It needs a medium change is all, I bet it will fit back into the same pot. this is my first species phal in spike, so I'm a little afraid of setting it back in its progress.
