Orchid Society Raffle Score

We had a weird raffle at this meeting. Few people bought tickets, and the ones who did bought multiple tickets. So there was a lot of "I already won, let's give someone else a chance."

I got this Cattleya skinneri 'Heiti Jacobs'



(that's a 6-inch pot)

Then my mom got a weird fern, which I already posted about in Off Topic.

Then another one of my numbers was called, and the only plant left was the shiny bromeliad that apparently no one else wanted.



Then I got a freebie in the form of a vanilla orchid, because the lady who'd won it decided that I'd give it a better home (while I already had my arms full with the Catt and bromeliad, of course, LOL).

They look like nice sized plants! I like orchid companion plants like bromiliads, and epiphytic cactii!

Well, I do already have two epiphytic cacti (and also another bromeliad)! My room is going to be a freakin' jungle during the winter (which is fitting, since I also have pet parrots).

Oh, also, can anyone ID the bromeliad?
