All but three of my 14 phals were rescues from the clearance shelf at Lowe's. Five of them were in horrendous shape.. They had rotten roots and wilty, wrinkly leaves. I zip tied those to the stems of my large Dragon tree, and they've all been putting out new roots and leaves like crazy. One of my larger rescued phals just started producing new growth on its old spike, so I'm hoping it actually blooms for me.
